Minutemen is Hiring a Machine Operator Near Cuyahoga Falls, OH
Now hiring a Machine Operator for a manufacturing company in Cuyahoga Falls.
1st shift: 6am – 4pm, Monday – Thursday ($16.50 per hour).
3rd shift: 8pm – 6am, Sunday – Thursday ($17.10 per hour).
Weekly pay.
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating the mill, extruder, and batchoff machines including setting up, loading materials, and monitoring performance.
Job Duties:
- Read and understand specification sheets.
- Continuous maneuvering and cutting compounds on mills.
- Set up knives and adjust compound thickness as needed.
- Monitor feed and pressures, changing as needed while operating the extruder.
- Monitor batchoff operations including dip levels in tanks.
- Adjust belt speeds as needed.
- Transport compound from mill to conveyor belt.
- Communicate with other operators to ensure daily goals are met.
- Any other task requested by a supervisor.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
